a track about dissociation that is not only the focus track of my debut album, but also got me into the finals of the german producing competition "Samples Unterm Sofa" by Marti Fischer that will take place end of September.

what started as a free piano intro that I had to play a pianist during a jazz concert, quickly evolved in one of my favorite songs. Initially, I hesited whether this song is too weird, too piano-centric, too minimalistic to work on Spotify etc., but instead it resonated with sooo many people, it blew me away. Other creatives were writing me how it inspired their art, how it helped writing books and drawing paintings. This makes it even more special to me.

Collecting Sparks
Collecting Sparks was the first song I released. It is about fearing my own level of motivatoin and fire. I never really planned to release it. But after getting nominated for both, the German Songwriting Award and the International Songwriting Competition 2024, I decided I'll go for it. From then on I started producing more songs and planned my release strategy, starting in August 2025.

Lisa Maria is a pianist, vocalist, and producer from the rural south of Germany. A messy notebook full of scribbled lyrics and quiet evenings at the piano are the foundation of her poetic, neoclassical and moody sound. She keeps the process personal and handmade. Writing and recording in her little home studio, diving into the nerdy depths of music production, and painting the artworks for her releases. Music has always opened a comforting, whimsical, and calm space for her to recharge. A space she hopes her listeners can step into as well.

Lisa Maria is a pianist, singer, and producer from the rural south or Germany. A chaotic notebook filled with fleeting lyrical ideas and quiet evenings at the piano form the foundation of her poetic and atmospheric sound. Her music project is deeply personal and handmade: in her small home studio she produces her songs herself, and as the release approaches she pulls her painting supplies from the shelf to create the artwork. With her debut album Under Water, Lisa Maria positions herself as a distinctive voice in the cinematic alternative pop. The album integrates themes of mental health, self‑reflection, and personal growth with musical influences from classical and jazz. For the production she received local funding* and was included in the official recommendation list of the local cultural program**. For Lisa Maria, music has always been a warm and comforting escape. A place she now shares with several thousand listeners around the world.

Ein chaotisches Notizbuch voller flüchtiger Textideen und ruhige Abende am Klavier bilden das Fundament ihres poetischen und stimmungsvollen Sounds. Ihr Musikprojekt ist ganz persönlich und handgemacht: In ihrem kleinen Home Studio produziert sie ihre Songs selbst und sobald es auf die Veröffentlichung zugeht holt sie ihr Malzubehör aus dem Regal, um die Artworks zu gestalten.
Mit ihrem Debütalbum "Under Water" positioniert sich die Newcomerin Lisa Maria als wiedererkennbare Stimme im englischsprachigen Alternative Pop.
